Dementia Care: Closing

Good dementia care focuses not just on the disease, but also the person behind it. We hope these videos have been helpful in your caregiving journey for persons with dementia.

Living with Dementia

Persons with dementia may have impaired judgment, especially for more advanced stages of dementia. We believe that safety at home is of paramount importance in caring for persons with dementia. Ensuring that the home environment is uncluttered will eliminate tripping hazards.

This one-room HDB flat exhibit incorporates various home safety adaptations that caregivers for persons with dementia can learn from.
We aim to encourage caregivers to create a supportive home environment for persons with dementia, so that they will adapt easily to their surroundings and in turn, will encourage activities and independence at home.

Safe, Better Living

This video provides tips to the general public on improving the home safety for older persons and enabling them to continue with their normal routines in a safer manner.
